Don's Story
Life
I was born and grew up in Greenwood, SC, graduated from Greenwood High in 1964, and earned BS (1968), MS (1969), and PhD (1972) degrees from Clemson University. I have been a faculty member at East Tennessee State University since then. ces Accreditation Commission and President of the Computing Sciences Accreditation Board. I have served on an advisory committee for Microsoft and worked with ACM on conferences and Awards. I enjoy scuba diving, Clemson sports, and doing things with my 3 grown children Tonya, John, and Jeff. My two grandsons (Noah, born 2005, and Dylan, born 2008) own me. Unfortunately, they live 6 hours away.
