Don's Story
I graduated San Jose State in 1971 with a degree in psychology. Married my wonderful wife Donna that year. (We celebrated our 37th anniversary last year.) I entered grad school in 1971 and emerged with a master's degree and a school psychology credential in 1974. After that I practiced school psychology in northern California for the next 22 years.
Our first child, Brenda, was born in 1974, and Kevin in 1977. Brenda is a financial analyst in San Francisco, where she has lived for the past 11 years. She will be married in June of 2009. Kevin is marrie...Expand for more
d and living in Pensacola, FL. He is a wholesale manager for West Marine, and is an avid sailor. His lovely wife, Laura is in a pediatrics residency program there. Needless to say, I am very proud of our kids.
I went back to school and got an administrative credential plus a doctorate, then worked as a special education director for several school districts for the next 12 years. I retired two years ago and have been enjoying life to the max.
Donna and I have traveled extensively, including a do-it-yourself one month cruise on our sailboat.
