Don's Story
Life
I suppose a biography should describe what one did and where one finishes, but I'm where I least expected or planned where I would wind up; I am now a geometry teacher at Terra Nova. It's as if I had fallen asleep in Mrs. Adam's class 26 years ago and found myself still in the same room. Life is strange.
When I left Terra Nova in 74, I went to Berkeley, tried to find the revolution, and not finding it, tried to start another (I asked my friends to call me Muhammed Ulianov for a few months), gave up and transfered to UC Santa Barbara where I finished with a major in eco...Expand for more
n. I worked for a good number of years as a credit analyst, and when the 90's hit, I started a new career as a substitute teacher in Oakland. This has led me to a teaching credential, and most finally to Terra Nova where I now teach Math. I love teaching and wish I had started out in education when I first got out of college.
During the past, I've bicycled across the US and Europe, I've done a good amount of improv comedy in the city, and I've spent a lot of time doing not much at all.
