Don's Story
Life
My wife, Ruth, and I have been married for 50 years, are mostly retired now and divide our time between our home in Alice, TX and our summer residence in Ruidoso Downs, NM. We like to travel via motor home or cruise ship. Alaska is our favorite destination but love the mountains anywhere plus I make an annual (try anyway) week trip with my two sons and my grandson to Big Bend National Park in Texas where we raft, canoe, hike, climb and play golf (OK, Ok and maybe have a few adult beverages).
My Kids
My oldest son, Burton, is married and lives in Dallas. He is a Senior Partner with McGlinchey Stafford law firm in their Dallas, TX offices. He and his wife Amy have no children (yet, I hop...Expand for more

My youngest son, Robbie, is married and lives in Antigua, Guatemala. He is Sr. Vice President, Operations for Alpine Access (Denver). He and his wife Kim have two children (my wonderful grandkids), Annie - 21 and Peden - 18. Annie is finishing getting her Associates Degree at Coastal Bend College here in Alice (we love having her here) and Peden is trying to figure out what he wants to do next, having graduated from high school last May. He is currently working at 4 ranches out in West Texas.
If there is anything greater than grandkids, I don't know what it is - however, as they have grown, going on trips with Grandmommie and Pepaw have become less and less and less and less...... :- (
