Don's Story
Today, being isolated from all those classmates that accompanied me in learning to be part of a "friends" together, I think a lot about those that I now know nothing or very little of their lives today.. The classes at Westside Elementary hosted my learning to deal with people and friends. I would be interested in knowing about some of them and their "history". Mrs. Farthing, Mrs. Griffin, Mrs. Mounts, Mrs. Grounds, Mrs Lindsey, and Mr. Blackwell were those that "headed up" our future.
Looking at the class pictures it is surprising the number of students that stayed together thru highschool.
But, there are those that I know nothing about and would appreciate any info on how they progressed.
First grade, I see Bobby Hartman, James Sparks, Tina Wall, David Rennie, Judy Myers, David Black, Hazel Hardy and a couple of others that I can't remember their name but if y...Expand for more

Second grade. I want to say, Margaret Babcock, Terry Lynn ?, Lon Erwin, "Zandy" Fieldcamp, Albert Hobaugh, Kenneth ?, Gladys Eppler.
Third grade. Jimmy Short, Lillian Watson,fellows on each side of her, Alicia Wolff, Donnie Nelson, and the two fellows on the end.,
I could mention a couple of people in my Kindergarten class at Columbus School in Oklahoma City but I don't remember their names.
Fourth, fifth, and sixth grade pictures were individuals but I can name a few of them.
Dorothy Grant, Forrest Gene Staples, Anita and Sandra Bryant, Hazel Hardy and Gary Lang.
I would really welcome info on the people I have mentioned and would be thrilled to share my info with the rest of my classmates.
As I mentioned, those are the people that prompted our learning to "deal with others".
