Don's Story
It's been a long time (40 years) since we cruised the halls at CV. I have pictures posted too, if you came this far you might as well check them out.
I spent a few years in Tri-Cities WA then moved to Southern California in the mid 80s. I manage very large residential construction projects in and around Orange County. I live about 30 miles south of Disneyland and have a house about 300 yards from the beach in San Clemente.
I married way out of my league. Tracey is almost perfect, her only flaw is she often gives me a beating on the golf course. Golf; what a stupid game but we're both addicted to it. We play at least once a week and we can play all year round here. We play for a trophy; the Barely Coveted Carter Cup. We drove though the Spokane Valley during our epic road trip in the August of 2009. First time I've been back for over 20 years. Amazing how little has changed. Some things were different but overall it felt very nostalgic.
I finally stopped growing at 6'-08". Now I try to keep from growing wider.
Hobbies over the years have been photography, basketball, camping, water skiing, 4-wheeling, exploring Baja California, and golf. I had a 'hobby' job for about 10 years leading 4-wheel drives trips. Now it's motorcycles. We both ride "Harley Clones' Yamaha cruisers that look like Harleys. In August of 2014, we rode the coast highway from the Mexican Border to the Oregon Border and back. Over Christmas 2016-17, we rode to Cabo San Lucas and back.
Living 1200 miles from Spokane, I have never just 'run into' anyone from CVHS. Don't be shy, say Hi.
