Don's Story
Life
I joined the Air Force in Jan 1980 and retired in May 2002. I started out as a Security Policeman, then retrained as a Structural Engineer. The last 12 years I was a Dedicated Crew Chief on the F-16 Falcon and F-117 Stealth. My last 4 years I was the Chief of the Maintenance Operations Center at Cannon AFB NM. I was stationed in Germany for 3 years, did 2 one year tours in Korea and 4 months in the United Arab Emerites during Desert Shield/Storm. Went to 32 countries in my 22 years. I retired as a Master Sergent. I now work for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. I am married to my childhood sweetheart, Kathy. We have one daughter, Kim and 3 grandaughters, Katlynn and Gracie, and Ally. We currently live in Cleveland Texas. I spend as much time as I can at my lease in Plum Ridge hunting and riding my 4 wheeler. If you ever come to George Bu...Expand for more
sh Airport in Houston ask any TSA person for me and they will know how to find me. Tell em your looking for Bulldawg:)
I blow of steam by Deer hunting, hunting deer, hunting and oh yea, hunting. Sitting in the woods and watching the animals is peaceful and relaxing.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a game room. My dream home would be a log cabin.
I want a new job where I don't supervise or manage anyone but myself. I would like to get paid to hunt and fish 24/7.
I wear jeans and Lynyrd Skynyrd tshirts to dress up. Otherwise I am in camo.
In 10 years, I hope to be hunting 24/7. I'm going to get there by paying off all my bills, buying 40 acres and building a log home.
My oldest friend is my wife Kathy. We met in 1964 in Shreveport LA. She later became my cousin by marriage and we finally got married to each other in 1998.
