Don's Story
Hi Everyone! Let's see, I moved to the Washington, DC area right after our 10 Class Reunion, and am still here. I work in Medical Records at a Community Hospital in DC. I finally got an AA in General Studies at PGCC in 1999. I haven't been able to finish a Bachelors Degree due to a very nasty divorce that left me broke!!! LOL! But, it's not all bad, cause I ended up getting full custody of my fantastic son, Zachary. He will be graduating HS in May 2015. Him and I are very active in Scouting, camping, canoeing, backpacking, and helping out in our community. He's more than just a Son, we are also best friends. I miss South West Pa. everyday of my life. Wish I could move back there, but my work and family is all down here, but, we will see what the future brings. You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy.
Sure as Hell wish our class would have a reunion sometime! Perhaps even a joint reunion with the classes before and after us? I have very limited contact with a few class mates. Everyone tells me I need to get on FaceBook. Perhaps now that my son is close to 18, and then I won't have to worry about my X-Wife following me around the Internet!!
