Don's Story

I hope my school friends rember me as A friend. Someone who enjoys life, family and friends.Someone who is man enough to laugh and cry and not show shame in doing Either. I always wanted to be a preacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, we wer all were wrong. How do I blow off steam? family, even though they could have been the reason! I had done some wild and shall we say mysterious things but the truth is- I'll never tell. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a kiss from my wife Sharon, a cup of coffee , and the belief to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Many heros of all types have I had, but espeacialy,Sharon, my wife of 32 years. For she has been by my side no matter what. Ft. Bragg,N.C. Army,Ft.Wainwright, Alaska, Army. So.CA 2Divorces , Visalia, Ca- New life, new wife (32years total) there as been a lot of moving inbetween, but these were most important. I enjoy watching Baseball, football.I had raced for 2 years F formula cars, but found out I had to get out because this was my very darkest part of my life.Love animals and belief they have as much rights to live as anybody. My biggest supprise in life? Well it could be said that I am still alive and sharing it with my wife, Son, 3 Daughters ,Daughter-in-law, Son-in-law,4Grandsons and 2Granddaughters. And soon another son-in-law. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel ? and add on a ?. My dream home would be comming soon as we are both will be retired and moved out of Calif. Of corse the family have all been invited to go too. This question was really too hard to answer because we just moved out of home that we had for over 26years, during which time we self remodeled several time from ground up! What have my children have shown me besides how to not be supprised by what could be next but too that is the fact thatI'm get...Expand for more
ting old! I've tried to pick out one teacher that I would love to see again but I'm afraid most of them have gone to another "higher" field of education, but if any are around I,d would like to say Hi and thank you to each . If I won $100 million, I'd give alot of it to help children, then spend the rest on who ever I feel needs and apreciate the help, and then family. Never have I lived in a dorm unless you count Basic training. I truely believe Happiness lies within the heart and my heart is openly shared by family and true friends and my God! My current age is 62. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be grandparents. I was so completely right. What ever work I had done I gave my fullest,be it for $,help, aiding others or loving my family My best friend (Sharon) would tell you I'm honest and loving, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as undescribible. No more uniforms(job related) Casual would be the bases of todays me I share my home with my wife our oldest daughter,2each dog and cats and anybody who wants to be or are family, which I find enjoyable. I no longer "show off" my egotistic tempory trophies, only the true accomplishment of being myself- A book that I have a poem in and many pictures of Our family In 10 years, I hope to be a live. I'm going to get there by breathing and taking care of myself. Thats easy- Sharon is my best friend and that is how we started and thanks to God we remain My first job was at Larsons Appliance, where I got paid ? to be the Servicing Manager. What I remember most about it is: It was family and the many people I met. What would I choose as a do-over? Too,too many good or bad things to choose from, so I have learned and teached others that those things are just another lesson of life! I believe people would be surpised how dedicated to my family I am
