Don's Story

After High School I went to PPCC, Later Known as El Paso Community College, or vise versa, I can't remember now. After a year I became a Certified pipe and structural welder. I then went to work in the automotive repair industry(thank you Mr.Smith for Auto Shop and Metals Classes)since most welding jobs required two or three years of experence. After four years of bending wrenches I went to work for a food vending company as a route driver and maintaing the fleet of trucks on weekends and nights, running a vending route was not my cup of tea so after two years I went to work for a pest con...Expand for more
trol company doing fleet maintence and getting back into welding as the owner liked to design his own equipment but was not a welder, several of the guys there were into dirt biking and I got the bug(already had a couple of street bikes) and bought a Yamaha MX 360, after a couple years of riding dirt I entered the New Years Day Hill Climb up the Peak, what an awesome day that was, -80 at the top and riding a motorcycle. With a family to support I took a position as a line mechanic with a shop on the south end of the Springs and went back to night school for for truck and equipment repair.
