Don's Story
Life
Mission will always be my "home", but, alas, I left my junior year and lived with my grandparents in Victoria, Texas and graduated there! Since then,I spent a lot of years in the offshore "oil patch" of Louisiana and attained the "top" status of Toolpusher (oil field for big-boss). Retired and opened a Restaurant. Owned three restaurants and got out with nice "sale" profit...only to "lose" it in divorce!
Now, very happily re-married, managed as a supervisor for seven res...Expand for more
taurants in the Dallas, Tx. area (I live in Garland), then decided to retire completely from Restaurants. Goofed off a while, then went in to business (Oates Contractors) .... working when and if I want too. When I get hungry, I want to! LOL . I have 2 grown kids, 7 grandkids (2 by marriage), 2 great grandkids, 2 dogs, a great house, 2 cars, etc.
Living good and lovin' it! Only thing I wish for now is that I wasn't gettin' so damn old! LOL! (...well, not really laughing!)
