Don's Story
I worked for an international company which produced cabin interior products for large commercial and corporate jet aircraft. I resided in Sydney, Australia and oversaw its sales in New Zealand and Australia. During this time, as a single person, I met my wife Margi and eventually retired in 2009. We now live in Mudgee, a country town located 3.5 hours (by car) Northwest of Sydney. Mudgee (meaning: nestled in the hills) is reknown for its many beautiful vineyards and tourism. Today, I have an interest in photography and an absolute love affair with golf. If only this love was mutual. Each year that passes, I find the holes are getting longer, the fairways narrower, and my handicap higher. Despite my scoring, it’s always fun to meet with friends and share a laugh together.
I have one son, Sean, residing in Kirkland. He has visited us on two occasions and we've had the good fortune to climb Sydney's Harbour Bridge, I miss him immensely and wish we were closer.
