Don's Story
Life
My high school nickname was 'Popcorn'. I wound up planting roots in New York, about 60 miles from NYC.
My Spouse - Gerry - I met her a doorway on Wall St. while talking to a friend. That was It! I was 25 and finally located her after looking for so long. It's a good find.
My Pets - Mya is a Bijon Friese - no complaints. My son's Rotweiler.....well..he recently bit the dust. The cats are history now and my fish stay in the pond, thank you very much. Actually, there is only one survivor as of this writing. More like a bathtub than a pond.
My Kids - They are special, smart, well adjusted, caring people with great personalities ... wife's inluence....they do take after me on some other things (I'm sure there must be something).
As of 2007 - Michele is 34, married to a great...Expand for more
guy and has given us the most precious grand daughter you can imagine who's already 2. Michele had Sarah on Sept 11, September 2007. A wondeful gift after going through that on that day downtown.
Michael is 30 now, married to a wonderful young lady Elizabeth. They've given us a grandson David who is already a year old.
Maryann is now 26 and was married on October 13, 2007 to Jeff, a really nice guy too. Hey, can't ask for more than this.
My Job - left my job as regional product manager for a financial services software company affiliated with the securities industry, got a job as VP at a prestigious wealth management bank and now I left all that bull behind, fed up with the stress politics and I'm fiddling around with building houses. Not quite retired but it feels like it.
