Don's Story
Life
I left the many good friends at Youth Center in Pueblo to return home to live with my Mother and two Sisters in 1968. I began attending Saint Joephs at that time for about a year. It was my expectation to return to Saint Joes, play football and graduate from Saint Joes in 1970. When I attempted to return I was told, by the principal, Mr Barbrick, that I could not return to Saint Joes for my Senior year. Many parents were concerned about the wild parties I had in "The Barn" and I was advised that I was no longer welcome there. I had intended to graduate with the class of 1970 and was very disappointed that I wasn't allowed that opportunity. I made some very special friendships there.

1969 and remained there until 1972.
After returning to Denver from the Army in 1972, I began working in the Automotive Industry as a mechanic. I went to school on the GI bill and earned an AAS degree from Red Rocks Community College in 1975. I began teaching Automotive Technology for Red Rocks Community College in 1975 and remained until 1995. I have just completed a 5 year teaching assignment for General Motors. Most of my life I have lived in or near the Denver Metro area and currently live on 5 acres outside of Fort Lupton Colorado. Presently, I am working for a private company in Golden Co as the Director of Training and Quality. I would welcome the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and classmates.
