Don's Story
Went to UofH, because of cost joined the Navy for the GI bill.
Served in Guam, Okinawa, and Vietnam.
Worked for SBC (now AT&T) many management jobs retired as an engineer after 29 years. Worked in Houston, then El Paso 5 1/2 years, then Corpus Christi 2 1/2 years. then retired in 2002,
I was also a Softball umpire for 29 years, did both slo-pitch and fast pitch, I was honored to work 17 National Championships. I did Mainly Fast Pitch, Girls, Women, Men, and College.
I also Refereed Football, high school and College for 18 years.
I then Refereed Volleyball for 10 years, High School, Club and some college.

rs. I'm a Lifetime Committeeman for HLS&R, started in 1979.
I am also a certified Dive Master but haven't dived in 30 years.
I live in Flynn, Texas
I married an Ex-Waltrip student class, of 1978.
1 son and 2 granddaughters.
Had a Lawn Business, which included cemeteries. Also, helped neighbors with cows and Hay.
Am 100% Disabled with the VA from Agent Orange.
I belong to the VFW, American Legion, the DAV, and the Vietnam Veterans of America. I hold several offices in the organizations.
I also a Volunteer Firefighter for 20 years.
I suppose I'm a workaholic. I'm blessed to do most of my items on the Bucket List.
