Don's Story
Moved from Huntsville in the summer of '68 before my senior year as my dad's job took us to Houston as part of the Apollo space program.
First year in a new school as a senior was a bear except for Texas history class. All girls, 'cept me.
You were either a surfer or a cowboy. Surfin' was my my focus, being 20 minutes from the beach.
After college, enlisted in Air Force to keep from swatting mosquitoes in jungle. Three days before I was to leave, had a motorcycle wreck, was paralyzed on left side from a head injury. Good Lord healed it and was able to leave after 10 day...Expand for more

Went back to college after long recovery at home. Grades improved, got a great job in electrical contracting, moved into test equipment, learned computers and IT field, then started my own business in power quality.
Our two primary markets have been IT and offshore drilling/gas production.
Developed a remote monitoring process which was patented in 2007. Taking it to market now.
Oh yeah, gave up surfing, bought a small ranch north of Houston and became a cowboy. Great tax benefits, awesome steaks. [check linked in dot com & face book dot com]
