After High School I went to St John`s University For a year. Did not like it. Got engaged to Marilyn Tax. I then transferred to the U of Minnesota for a quarter. Too big. Did not like it. Became an assistant manager of 2 bookstores serving the U of Illinois in Champaign, Illnois. Broke the engagement with Marilyn 3 weeks b4 the wedding. Had to go into the Army Reserves. Basic training Ft Leonard Wood, Mo. Advanced training in Ft Riley, Kansas. After that I joined Northwest Airlines 9/21/1964 as a customer service agent. Worked in Cleveland, Ohio 1 1/2 yr and transferred to Milwaukee for 1 1/2. Than I came to Minneapolis. I married Kay Hareid from Albert Lea, Mn on May 4, 1968. My total time at NWA was 40 years. Retired Apr 2004. Need something to do after retirement. Got a part time bus driving job. I transport the mentally & physically challenged around to where they need to go. I have 3 children and 5 1/2 Grandchildren. Brent, Tiffany, Amy. Tiffany lives in Littleton, Colorado. The other two live in the twin city area.
