Don's Story
Following high school, I went into law enforcement for nearly 34 years and retired in 2003. I've been married for 40 years and now reside in Canyon Lake, Ca. I have two daughters, Jennifer and Shelly. Both were student athletes and obtained scholarships and graduated from U.Mass and UCI. They each have three sons, my grandsons now range in age from 22 to 3. Following them in in their activities should entertain me for all my years to come. I'm a lucky papa. being Papa. My music likes are country and good ole rock and roll. My family encourages me to write my memoirs from my time on the job. I worked during a time of so many historic news events in Los Angeles and my job assignments at the time enabled me to witness the true characters involved in a number of those gruesome crimes. There could not have been a more interesting time to be a deputy. Rarely do I meet up with Loara classmates but enjoy the times that I do. The reunions were fun and I enjoyed seeing the people who attended. This classmates site brings back great memories.
