Don's Story
Life
Wow, life can take us away from where we began and now bring us all back together again. I settled in Port Orchard, WA after a breif stint with college and landed a great career in the auto industry.
After many changes throughout dealerships, I broke away to start my own and now today have my own used car dealership, A car rental company, a finance company and a real estate business trust. I have yet to achieve the size that I want my business to become, because that always changes over time with more growth.
I have two wonderful kids, a girl who is 14 in February 05' and a son who is now 8. They are both a great highlight in my life and give me a wonderful opportunity to share life experiences with as they grow up.
Although, today I am single and live alone, (I share custody of my kids), I spend my off time trainning for the things in life I enjoy the most like Hiking, (spent a week in the Olympic Mountians with my kids this past summer), traveling, (Spent a week in vegas last spring and can't wait to go back this spring), Cycling, (four diferent road tours last summer plus many personal rides), roadtrips to the ocean, (I spent a total of 30 days at Ocean Shores this past year, 2-5 days at a time). I could go on and on about that stuff.

ast couple of years as well, and this spring I am planting a 10,000 square foot vinyard in the Port Orchard area on one of my pieces of land. Hopefully in 5-7 years I will have a good marketable grape for a future pub I have in the works.
After reading some of this, most people will not know me. They will only remember the pot smoking, long haired, troubled kid I was back in school. From Baker Junior High and into Mount Tahoma I changed from a clean kid to the kid that peer pressure almost crushed and destroyed. Thankfully, by the time I hit my young twenties and had my first child on the way, my outlook on life changed again. So, today I live to achieve that which I lost in my childhood. I did graduate, but it was from another school, since I moved out on my own in eleventh grade.
Its funny how time drifts by and one day you realize that you are about to have a twenty year reunion. The people who once were a part of your life have been gone for some time and now you can re-connect with them. I hope to see a few of you during this next year at reunion time and hope you too will benefit from re-connecting with me.
P.S. I tried to show my kids where thier father went to school this past summer, but found out that Mount Tahoma is now Stadium. See how things change........
