Don's Story
After graduation from Burbank High School in 1957, I went to Glendale Community College the same year as Ralph Turner from Burroughs High School (I dated his sister, Lana Turner). He and I went on to graduate from Brigham Young University where he set rercords in Track & Field that still stand today.
For me, I had the privelege to play with and against Gail Goodrich in Basketball. He is now in tthe "Hall of Fame" and I learned a lot from playing with him for about 7 years almost every day. Maybe some of you remember Gary and/or Danny Polanski too (6'5" and 6'8") - This was mostly from 1958-1964. We had good times back then.
After graduation for me in Jan., 1968, I became an assistant to the controller, then a Purchasing Manager and then started the company's first Personnel Department after graduation from U.C.L.A. in 1974.
After dating a few young movie starlets, I marriied from1972-1985 (we had two sons). I remarried with my second wife in 2004 at age...Expand for more
65 (She was 31 years younger than me) and we have been happily married ever since. From about 1975-1984 I was an Office Manager for (3) companies. I worked for the State of California from 1985-1994. I worked for Stanislaus County from 1995-2004, when I left for four trips to Thailand to marry my second wife. Currently, I am semi-retired and an Investor in Precious Metals and have created my own Mutual Fund(about 25 companies),which are doing quite well considering our economic times.
This is of course just a synopsis of my life. There is much more to tell. Mina Waln, I have gotten over my crush on you in high school.

I received many awards for the local Chambers of Commerce.
My best friends would tell you I'm a really good friend, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as Introvert.
I share my home with my mother, which I find in very good health at age 94.
I still remain close to (2) of my old high school friends.
