I was extremely happily married to my best friend Steven, whom I have known since I was 10. (Steven - my husband, lover. best friend and rock passed away on June 29th, 2011... I miss his sooooo much but every day without him is another day closer to seeing him again)

We did have 4 fur babies but we had to make the decision to put our loving, faithful and most beloved 14 and 1/2 year old black cat named Bagheera (he was named after the panther in the "Jungle Book") to sleep on May 23, 2009. This was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. But I know it was the unselfish thing to do. The vet told me there was nothing really to do as he was too far gone. I miss him terribly. We also had a girl red nosed pit we got her in January of 2011, my husband loved her but she was too much for me to handle, Pits need lots of strict attention and I couldn't handle her so I found her a great new home. I kept her as long as I could because I know how much he loved her.
I am very independent and open-minded. I get along with people from all walks of life. I enjoy people. However, I do not like to be around pompous self-righteous people who believe that the size of their pocket book etc. makes them better than others. As you can tell from my favorite quote none of that matters. So you have a few more toys to play with, big deal, he who dies with the most toys is nonetheless dead...lets see your character!".
