Donald's Story

Retired from Kodak in O5 after 37 hears there. Have lived in Fairport since 1971. Sad to say my wife Bev just passed away on Jan. 5th, 2015. Life sure is not the same without her and never will be. We have taken many wonderful trips to Europe and the US. Have one adopted daughter that lives in Indiana, and two grand kids in Florida. We (I) see them often. Bev and I at least got to go on our 40th wedding anniversary to Hawaii together Oct., 2014. It was simply ...Expand for more
wonderful. So I at least have that for a wonderful memory of her beside many others. Not sure what the future holds for me now, but I know Bev would want me to go on. Boy, do I love and miss her. Looking forward to our classes 50th reunion next year. That sure will be a milestone. Hard to believe it's been that many years, Sure doesn't seem it. Wow, just found a wonderful picture of Bev I've never seen before. Guessing in her late teens or early 20's. I was a lucky guy for sure.

Well today 10/25 is a bittersweet day for me. A year ago today my bride and I were leaving for our 40th anniversary to Hawaii. Only feels like a month ago. What wonderful memories, but would give anything to relive that.
A nice hike with Michelle when out for her wedding. Little Buddy enjoyed the walk also.

It's been one month since I had to say goodby to my bride. You are still with me every day honey and you'll forever be in my heart -- I'll always love you.
Well this weekend is the 1st holiday I'll share without Bev, although she's still very much with me in every way possible. Happy Easter Honey -- Love You Forever.
