Donald's Story
Life
Graduated PHHS, DVC, UC Berkeley, and law school. I formed a firm in Walnut Creek in 1979 and went on to practice throughout the country in state and federal Courts. I am still "Of Counsel" in Connecticut and Florida, but semi-retired in 2000 when we moved to our beach house in Santa Cruz. I beat cancer in 1998 (chemo sucks!) and decided to take life a little easier.
Along the way I have a daughter, Heather, by Judy (Sara). She lives with her husband and my super grandson on Long Island, New York. During the seventies I played baseball, played music, worked and went to school (whew, what a ride). I married my beautiful wife Lisette, in 1981 and raised one son (Tim) who graduated from De LaSalle and pitched on the USF baseball team. He lives in Sacramento with his wife and they are expecting a son in October. My wife served on the Grand Juries of both Contra Costa and Santa Cruz counties. She belongs to...Expand for more
the Contra Costa Sheriff's Posse, studies Korean Martial Arts, physics, art history and shopping! I still consult in family law trials and conduct investigations and discovery. We travel a fair amount including surf trips and, our favorite, cruises. I am fortunate to be able to surf every day right off my back deck and, occasionally, tear up some perfectly beautiful fairways. I play softball in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz, belong to a local surf club, volunteer for Ride A Wave for the benefit of disabled children and keep active in our little local community. My great parents are no longer with us and I miss them. I've had wonderful pets, wonderful friends, and, all in all, life has been very good to me. I enjoy every day.
