Life
I couldn't settle down until my 30's
I played junior executive for my early to mid 20's and as soon as I saw my youth slipping away, jumped ship and started a music career playing around town and some extremely light touring until I turned 30 when I met the woman I would settle down and start a family with. Wow...what a circus that has been...I just played around for the first 2 years after school then all of a sudden decided to get to work and took a job in marketing research as a supervisor. ad misspent my youth. I transistioned into playing music and moved downtown (of course I fell far short of becoming a rock star) but it was that path that led me to another life changing event...I met my future wife at a little dive we played on Greenville one night and from then on, we were inseperable...long and short, the band broke up (the lead singer met his Yoko) and my girlfriend and I moved to where her family was...Arkansas...what an experience that was...I learned how to work in factories, found that you can't raise a family on what they pay those people so I learned how to drive a big rig (?????). We came back to Dallas when I realized I could turn a lifelong hobby of PC/Networking into the career I can retire from...It's been a little unpredictable...but a LOT of fun.
