Donald's Story
The day after graduation I enlisted in the AirForce where I served for 4 years. Following that maturing experience I returned to University of the Pacific after 3 years there entered The George Washington University School of Medicine graduating in 1965. I then sent to Stanford for my medical internship and neurology residency finishing in 1969. Following this training I did a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore for 2 additional years. tudents, residents and fellows. While at Stanford, my wife Eleanor and I had 2 sons, Sean and Timothy. Both are know grown and successful in the respective professions. Sean is a Professor of History at Northern Illinois University and Timothy is Professor and Chair, Departments of Music, Dance and Theater at University of Nebraska at Kearney. Retirement suits me well, continue to publish research papers and medical books and looking forward to my 50th anniversary graduation from medical school.
