Donald's Story
Life
After two years at McClennan Community College (MCC) and two years at Baylor University, I entered medical school at the University of Texas in Houston. Four years later I had a medical degree, and as the professors said, I had a degree after having completed half my training. I finished the three year Family Practice Residence in Baytown, Texas and am boarded in Family Practice. Presently I work in a small hospital Emergency Room. until 1992. I finally gave up private practice due to long, very long hours, and no family time.
I married Lili in 1984 as an intern. We have two children. One has finished his first year in college and the youngest is a senior in high school.
Lili and I, and sometimes the kids, travel to third world countries on medical-evangelistic trips twice a year. These many trips are very rewarding and allow us the opportunity to share the gospel of Christ as well as attend to folks, many of whom have never had medical care.
