or West Texas. I would not mind living in Montana or the Wind River Range area of Wyoming. I have been a carpenter, infantryman, tanker, intelligence officer, rock mason, tile-setter, welder, electrician, general contractor, cut for sign with the Border Patrol, and have been told that I can fix anything. My research interests are feral and exotic animals, endangered species, American Southwest, Gulf coast, and agriculture. I can sleep on the ground as easily as in a bed, drink from tinajas as easily as the tap, and prefer watching bighorn sheep to football, particularly when I am in Southwestern deserts and Western mountains. I consider anything east of the Mississippi River the "East Coast" and generally avoid being there. In my spare time I like to hike and camp in Big Bend, the Manzano and Jemez Mountains of New Mexico, and the San Juans of Colorado. Waterfowl hunting, Labrador retrievers, fishing, gardening, target shooting, and woodworking are other favorite pastimes I enjoy with my wife and children and soon my grandsond Aldo and Benjamin. Licensed instrument rated pilot and USCG Captain.".
