My life has never gone as I would have planned it; it's a good thing God was in control, He knew what a mess I would have made if I were in charge. I joke that we will never win Publisher's Clearing House because God knows how stupid I will get with all that money. After high school, I started college at UCSB then joined the Air Force, to avoid being drafted. I retired from active duty in the Air Force after 21 years then from the Department of the Air Force at Keesler AFB in Biloxi Mississippi after 20 years. (It's hard for me to believe I spent 41 years with the Air Force). My wife, is a native Biloxian and a true Southern Belle; we don't have children together but she has a son from a previous marriage and he has provided us with two wonderful grandchildren. I have two children from a previous marriage and no grandchildren on that side. While in the AF, I became a Radar Electronic Systems Tech and spent almost half of my career teaching the Radar Principles Course at Keesler. After retiring from active duty, I went back to college, University of Southern Mississippi, and earned a BS in Technical Occupational Education, then returned to teach the same course I had taught all those years.
