Donald's Story
Life
My Spouse
I saw her at our 20th year reunion, became reaquainted, then lighting struck
again!
My Pets
I have a nine year old German Shepherd
named Major. I obedienced trained him 7
years ago and he's one of( if not the)
best dogs I've owned.
My Kids
My oldest son, Scotty(13),enjoys playing
baseball. Courtney(12,loves animals, especially horses. Eric(7), is crazy about the WWF and gets a burr haircut to look like Goldberg. Spencer(6), is one of the most thoughtful and delightful little boys that I know.
My Job
I work as the Clerk in Charge at the UNT
Post Office. Hectic at times, but fun at
others.
Workplace
I've been with the US Postal Service in Denton, Tx for just
over 7 years and at the University Of North Texas Station for the last 2 1/2. I enjoy working there and have developed a rapport with a lot of the faculty, staff, and students. One of the best perks of working at the UNT station is that I work M-F from 8-5. I always loo...Expand for more
k for new and old students that are from Ft Worth or Paschal, thinking
that maybe they are children of my classmates. Although my oldest son is almost 14 now, most of the students are young enough to be mine, so I look out for them as though they are. UNT is a good school academically and is getting better
in athletics. I enjoy working there and am proud that I am associated with the school.
Military
I did my Basic Training and AIT at Ft Dix from June to Oct 75. My first duty assignment was at Camp Humphries, S Korea
from Oct 75 to Nov 76. After a month of leave, I spent the last 18 mos. at Ft Lewis,Wa. I met a lot of guys from all over the country and wish I could get in touch with them. I have a lot of memories ( some of them fuzzy! ) of my time in the Army. I learned a lot and probably should have made a
career of it, but didn't think too much about it at the time. I did realize that the military isn't for everyone and
did enjoy the traveling.
