My oldest daughter is a music teacher and her husband started as a banker and now owns a small telecommunications franchise. My youngest daughter is an RN and her husband is a sergant on the police SWAT team. I remarried in 1992 to my second wife who had two sons one is living in Arizona and the other is still with us. signed to Fort Bragg as a soldier and it just seemed the place to retire. I was posted in Italy and Germany for my overseas assignments. I started in logistics, served with the 82nd from 1974 to 1979 and 1985 to 1987. I was with the Spectial Forces Traing Command from 1979 to 1983, the 509th PIR in Italy from 1983 to 1985 and the 32 Air Defence Commad from 1989 to 1992. I have been a logistician, medic, infantryman, and a mechanic, I guess mechanic stuck. I can't remmember ever sitting down to say this much before, even in a resume. Maybe I'll think of somthing else later I have had a wonderful life full of goodtimes and some not so very good times, but I have not failed to benift from every success and set back. I have met people and been places I never thought I would go, I continue to learn new things every day and look forward to my next challange, I don't remember getting old but this too shall pass. Most of my mentors have died, and I find myself in the company of young men wanting to gain experience and make a difference with thier lives. This keeps me encouraged to continue looking forward to tomorrow.
