Donald's Story
Hi everybody. I was cruising through the net and stumbled acrossed this site and couldn't resist jioning. Its pretty funny in life after high school you get so involved starting your new life that everyone you knew in school seems to slip out of contact. You always wonder of what happen to so many people from school and what life has dealt them.
Well in my case life has been very interesting. I married my high school sweetheart and was married for 28 years. But people change and you never know for sure what will happen next. I have been single now for 6 years and sometimes think its about time to start looking for a lady to share the rest of my life with but just haven't meet her yet. I live part of my life in the Ozarks in N.W. Arkansas and the rest in the Green Bay and Mountain area. I really enjoy the Ozarks due to being able to golf and boat most of the year. Also i like to compete in some of the major bowling tournaments and the largest and best paying one's happen in the western parts of the U.S. But my heart has always been in Wisc. and i can't do without my downhill skiing and snowmobiling. of my sons live in the Green Bay area and i like to spend as much time as i can with them.
Well as you might have guessed from the previous paragraph that i am retired. I was a union truck driver and back in 2005 i had another semi down in IL. pull out in front of me and was almost killed. So i spent 3 years having surgeons try to put me back together and they did a heck of a job. I am very active now and just enjoying what life has to offer. I spend most of my days bowling, golfing, or out on the boat. The way i look at it God gaave me a second chance at life and i'm going to make the best of it.
I don't know if most everybody remembers but i didn't start going to Southwest until the begining of my sophmore year. When i moved from Fla. i thought my life was over and i just knew i was going to hate the north. But it didn't take long before everyone made me feel at home at southwest. I got to meet and come to know some great people. Well thats it for now but if you ever want to chat i am on facebook so look me up. I'm not on the computer every day so don't get pissed if i don't get back to you emediately.
