Donald's Story
Married to Charlene Korzinski, KSS Grad '76 for 41 years. One daughter, Lisa and three grand children, we all live in Thunder Bay, ON, since 2001. Great all season playground with beautiful summers.. Returned to school in 1990 and earned my Business Administration Diploma with Honors O.U.C. '93. Volunteer firefighter - Kelowna 1982-1994. Worked at Brenda Mines (Copper-Molybdenum) 1972 to closure in 1990, Myra Falls Operations (Copper, Zinc, Silver, Gold), Vancouver Island (Campbell River-1994-2001), Kemess Mines (Copper/Gold) and moved to Thunder Bay for work at Mu...Expand for more
sselwhite Mine (Gold). Worked in Kazakhstan developing a $1.5 B gold project 2010-2012. Maintenance and Operations consulting - Incorporated 2013. Recently collaborated and assisted maintenance team in building a reliability maintenance program for Newmont- Borden Gold Mine- Canada's all electric underground gold mine. Extensive travel, Europe, Canada, USA, French Polynesia, Australia and Kazakhstan. Cruise Consultant with Expedia Cruises since 2013.
Officially retired - boating, skiing, fishing, photography, travelling, spending time with growing grandchildren.
