Workplace
As soon as I graduated high school, I went to work for Fawcett-Haynes Lithograph. The name changed to Fawcett Lithograph and then changed again to Holladay-Tyler Printing Corp. I finished my career in 1987 as a journeyman pressman on web presses. I had already started driving for Montgomery County Schools in 1983. I continued with them until going to work with Montgomery County Ride-On, as a bus operator, in 1993. In 1999, I was promoted to Transit Coordinator (road supervisor). This is my present position. I retired from Montgomery Public Schools after the 1999-2000 school year.
