Donald's Story
I am retired now. I met my bride of 47 years when I was a police officer in North Las Vegas, Nev. in 1962. I previously entered the U.S. Air Force after graduating from high school. I worked for NASA at JPL on the Ranger 7 Project then went back into Law enforcement in the LA area and stayed in Law Enforcement tell I was injured in the line of duty in Hominy OK. I was the first sergeant , Asst. Chief at the time. My bride, she hates being called that, and I have 7 children 42 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. and still going. I am an Asst. District Commissioner for the Clan McAlester Society for OR, WA and Alaska. I attend the Clan gatherings and Scottish Games in my area. Yes I wear my Kilt and attire. I bought a plot of land in Scotland,that's what they call it over there, And received the title of Laird( homeowner), that and $2.00 will get me a cup of coffee. Five more years my house here will be payed for, two years the car will be paid for, then I'll still be broke and can't do anything. Figures. Still looking for Susan Simcox class of 57.
