Donald's Story

After I left Fremd, I went to Harper college for two years with John Michalisko. I joined the wrestling team with Ray Steerbo since there was no football team. Played semi-pro football for a year with John Kubica. Moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas in Summer of 1971 to go to the University of Arkansas. Back to Palatine in late 1971. Got married in 1972. Moved back Arkansas. Played a year of semi-pro rugby and earned a degree in Civil Engineering at U of A. Back to Chicago in 1978. My daughter Holly was born in Winfield, IL. in 1985. Started a Structural Engineering business and raised my family there until 2006. Built a home in Palm Coast, Fl. in 2008 and bought another home in Fontana, CA in 2008. Currently I commute between my home/offices in Fontana, CA and Palm Coast, FL (I enjoy traveling and golf). I live on the Intercoastal Waterway and my favorite place to be is on my dock watching boats and dolphins go by (fishing is optional). My daughter Holly gave me a grandson Brayden in 2010 and my son Brian gave me another grandson Mattis in 2011. My wife Darlene and I celbrate our 40th wedding anniversery this year (21012)
