Jami's Story
Life
After graduating high school I lived in Mesquite till my son was born in 1985. At that time I moved to Copperas Cove, Texas (near Ft Hood) and met my husband. We married in Feb 1987 then moved to Battle Ground, Wa in July 1987. After 2 years in Washington state and 3 years in Oregon we moved back to Texas and have been here every since. Since moving back to Mesquite we bought a house down the street from where I grew up. I have been doing volunteer work thru various organizations and own my own medical billing company. My husband has been a truck driver for Stevens Transport for 12 years now.
We have been fortunate enough to do a lot of traveling. When my son was younger we went to Disney Land, Disney World and Hershey Park, Pa., just to name a few. In 2004 we spent 2 wonderful weeks in Alaska, my husbands home state. It was wonderful! I would love to buy a summer home there! In 2007 we plan on going to Europe for our 20th anniversary!
