Donald's Story
High School was a blast. I loved most of the teachers. Of course many friends and after school activities such as the Judy Club, Archery Club, Karate Club had their benefits too.
I have so many good memories about Tip Top Drive in with girlfriends, and guys to show off our cars. Anyone remember my sleeper a 62 White Chevy station wagon with about 400hp hidden under the hood? A few wish to forget that $20 they lost to me¿ lol
I
had huge crushes on Gail Bartlett freshman year and Lynn Ann Bemish my Jr. year, but Married Rosemary Nalazek in 1970. Wonder how their lives turned out? (If anyone knows them tell them I said ¿HI!¿ and if they wish to write me please do so. We all have missteps huh? Fate had other ideas for my life and it has been an exciting ride to be sure. I eventually married A girl from Flint and was married 25 years. It was fun but didn¿t work out, so I am single again. Retired and living in small town called Fort Mohave in Mohave Valley, Arizona, just outside an Indian reservation.
It is so beautiful here, surrounded by mountains on the Colorado River, Down from Hover Dam. I love to go for hikes in the low mountains and am a nature photographer among my other many trades now. My main job is in the Health/Wellness industry helping people live longer, more pain free, productive lives. (Don¿t get me started¿ lol) I love my jobs. I am a member ...Expand for more
of the River Valley Artist Guild and am often in art shows and have had displays hung in several locations around the state and nation. My photographs have reached as far as Japan, Australia, and Israel, now that is amazing. I have also written romantic short stories, poetry and have been published a few times. I am told I spend way to much time on the computer in Photoshop (Which I teach to some local artist and senior citizens. OMG I am one now¿lol) I love emails from friends far and wide and especially from old friends in Bay City and beyond as we have spread out around the world now. Will exchange pictures and reminisce on a whim. I have forgotten so much so remind me please.
And lastly, all you guys and gals who have visited my profile here. I hope you remember the good times of fun and excitement we had and never the bad. Life is to short for those memories. Root beer floats, impromptu drag races on Euclid, movies and popcorn, parking at the beach, football games where we smeared Handy, and all the teachers who actually tried to teach us a thing or two. Sigh. Truthfully I would not trade nor change anything, you were all wonderful back then in the days of innocence and fun. Thanks for the memories gang!
