Donald's Story

After high school I entered the Air Force where I spent 28 years. I served pretty much all over the world except South America. I served 12 month remote tours just south of Nome, Alaska on the shore of the Bering Sea and in Southeast Asia. I married and have two daughters, two grand-daughters, seven great grand-children and two great- great-granddaughters. My wife of sixty-four years passed away on 4 May 2016. nty years in Civil Service with the Air Force. I retired in 1996 and am enjoying it immensely. I presently live in Schertz,, Texas about fifteen miles Northeast of San Antonio. I love to travel. I traveled for twenty years to the USBC National Bowling Tournament which I really enjoyed. Got to see a lot of the United States and met some very likeable people. In the picture I am the one on the left. The others are my wife and friends from Connecticut.
