Donita's Story
Always the "book worm", I graduated from University of La Verne in 1995 with a BS and a Certificate in Legal Studies. I graduated from National University in 2000 with a Master's in Education, Cross-Cultural Teaching, and Multiple Subject credential, and again in 2006 with a Master's in Special Education, Mild to Moderate, and credential.
Right after high school, I worked in a law office as a legal secretary for several years, and in 1981 went to work at General Dynamics in Pomona. I spent nearly 13 years there until they closed their doors and moved to Tucson. Though offere...Expand for more
d several positions there, I decided to stay here. I still keep in contact with many of my ex-colleagues. Interestingly enough, I actually worked with Jenny Fuquay (Blicharski) for a few years, as well as Jenny Perkins. Jenny Perkins mom also worked there for many years. Both Jenny's graduated from SDHS in 1977.
I have lost contact with many of my high school friends. My very first best friend in first grade, Melinda Morris, is on this website. That was likely the most exciting reconnection I've made.
I love my family and my life!! I hope to hear from some old friends.
