Donn's Story
Once upon a time...long ago and far, far away...my journey began. The tapestry is now complete, save for the frill of it! So much exuberant anticipation of the wonderful things life had to offer. Then, reality...draft, war, college, employment overseas and self employment. Then...the auto accident. Took me two years before I could stand up and try to walk without blacking out in pain. Lost my business and went from a six figure income to a six figure debt! Then employment again and laid off at 59 after loosing all my money in the Australian stock market! mployed again. Made a million in the stock market in 2015, then gave it all back. Hit the lottery for seven million twice but laundered the ticket the first time and forgot to play my numbers the second!!! Oh well, I guess my 'give a damn' is finally busted. Kinda cynical now as I enter the proverbial 'check-out' line of life. Never married, fiancé's all died, so, just went with the flow and gave up on that and have become a dinosaur, soon to become extinct. I'm the last of the Appleby's, there are no more in this lineage.
