Donna's Story

After High School I didn't really do much except work....I met a guy in 84, fell in love and moved to Pennsylvania in 87....the only good thing that came out of that was my son who just turned 20 in June!. Swore I was done with men after that 7 year trip! Went back home (to Pasadena) in 1994...I still can remember watching OJ in the "white bronco chase" the nite I came home...LOL... Met the man of my dreams (He really is the greatest man in the world!) in February of 1990 (Valentines week) and married him a year later on Valentines Day. We now live in Pasadena (MD) where I am unfortunately not able to work (since 2007) due to medical conditions. My husband works and is retired military. (Did I mention that he is the greatest guy in the world?) He has 3 grown children (1 boy and 2 ...Expand for more
girls). Between the two girls we have 4 grandkids that always give Randy and I a run for our money when they stay with us! (Ya know grandkids are much better than kids of your own.......you can always send them back...LOL), but we love them to death! Just living life now...and it's not always easy! Randy was just diagnosed with a rare bone marrow disease which is considered a form of cancer of the blood. I know he will get through this because he is the strongest man I know and thankfully it is not a terminal cancer....although there is no cure, there is a treatment which he is undergoing now. I would love to hear from old friends (acquaintances)...I am also on facebook listed as "Donna Stephens" I have caught up with quite a few people there so feel free to contact me there also.
