Donna's Story

After graduating from Estancia in 1968 I spent 2 wonderful years at OCC. What fun it was and lots of new friends. 1970 went to work for United Airlines out of LAX. Walked in a million miles in those heels. Then the oil crisis and layoffs. 1971 went to work for Orange County Auditor's office. A year later back to school at Cal St Fullerton. Ran out of money. Back to Orange County Treasurer's office. 1974 moved to Cheyenne Wy. Great rodeo. Wonderful people. 1977 moved to Grass Valley CA and...Expand for more
started my long career in Social Services. Have a great group of friends there. 1991 Moved to Idaho Falls. Brrrrr 1993 moved to Salem OR and went to work for the State working with Seniors and People with Disabilities. Then moved to Bandon OR (Great Golf). and now in Brookings OR (Great fishing). Still friends since Jr. High with Rochelle Robb. Still working. No children. Two cats and a dog presently. Developing a great group of friends here and reconnecting with old ones from days gone by.

Got the tree in the stand!!!!! Let's see how long it takes Mom to notice.
It was in the 70's yesterday so my spring bulbs declared the start of Spring. My cherry tree joined the fun and broke out in blossoms.
Easter past.
The weather and the news were gloomy today. But today was also joyous as one of our deer gave birth today.
Merry Christmas to all my friends from Dori and me.
Brrrrrrr. A nice little hail storm tonight.
