Donna's Story
Smart, curious, funny,adventurous
I always wanted to be a horsewoman when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a pretty good idea, actually. (Mostly) As it turns out, they were right. For a long time.I studied in the UK for a BHS certificate, and found a love for working with people with disabilities I've always kept. (and got a piece of Princess Anne's wedding cake)Still teach.
Craziest thing I ever did? Pulled a practical joke on the drama advisor the night before a tour. Costly. But worth it.
Lived in Britian while at school. Upstate NY for a year. NH mostly and forever.
That God would swoop in (never cry for help if you don't mean it...Expand for more
) and take me far, far out of my comfort zone, I never expected.
My best friend would tell you I'm smart, funny and curious about everything, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as smart, funny, and crazy.
Big victory? NE invitational karate championships, 2nd place, Black Belt Freestyle Kata (weapons)
My first job was at Hillsboro Girls Camp, where I got paid a fair bit to run the barn and teach riding. What I remember most about it is I learned to work with horses teach and become independant. Began the rest of my life there...
Still compose music, on occasion. I have music in churches in four states and three countries.
