Donna's Story
Hey Classmates!
For anyone who cares, after graduation, I went to UW Eau Claire where I played volleyball for two years, sang in the choir, drank lots of beer on Water Street and graduated with my Bachelor's in Social Work in 1987. My first job was in Manitowoc as a Juvenile Court social worker with the county. I started graduate school part time, communting to UW-Milwaukee while working full time, and graduated with my MSW in 1993. I met my husband Craig (Univ. of Minnesota, Gopher football player and architect) playing volleyball at the YMCA in Sheboygan, and we married in 1994. We lived in Cleveland, WI for the next 8 years, had three kids (Nick is 10, Alex (boy...Expand for more
) is 8 and Kristina is 7), and moved to the Chicago suburbs in 2002. That was pretty much my choice, or as Craig says, my "fault".
I have been an outpatient therapist in private practice for ten years, and primarily do marital therapy right now - when I'm not a baseball, soccer, basketball and softball mom. I'm the VP of my home owner's association, because "if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself." (Yeah, I'm one of those.)
Wish that I had made the 25th reunion, and planned to make it, but couldn't swing it at the last minute. Hopefully will be there for the 30th!
