Donna's Story
After high school I took a course at Cypress College for Nursing Assistant and ended up working at Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim. In 1970 I had a baby girl, and still kept working since by then I was a single mom. Life went on but it wasn't easy. I married again and had another girl in 1979. s I raised my girls as best I could, it was hard! My eldest daughter had my first grandson in 1990 an another one in 1993. I helped her raise them and we did fine. To make a long story short my grandsons both ended up having two children each! So now I have 4 great grandchildren. I'm retired now and live on social security only. So, it's still tough, but I wake up every morning and count my blessings! Love to all!!
