I am soooo excited! The Oregon Historical Society, in Portland, just accepted my dad's motorcycle sweater from the 1940's. I am so happy it has a home.
I've been on Facebook for some time, now, and haven't really done much, so I've decided to join the 21st century and participate more.
I got to be a kid again when I went to Disneyland in Sept.
Had a wonderful evening in Half Moon Bay Wed., sipped wine, while watching this gorgeous sunset at Sam's...almost as good as being in Hawaii.
Woke up to snow on my deck. (Look really closely, and you'll see it.)
My creek has transformed into a rushing river. I love it! It's exciting to watch, and I can hear it from inside the house.
Beautiful birds and deer in my back yard...I wish the deer would stay away and stop eating my flowers!
I had a wonderful time hiking with my grandson, Jake, at Tahoe...Never thought I'd cross a river on a log, but did it!
I've derived so much enjoyment from watchin this amaryllis grow from a bulb...simple pleasures...
The bay covered with fog this morning, from the parking lot at CSM...very cool.
I just returned from visiting 2 life-long friends in Eureka...very different from the bay area. This sign was on the door of the airport gift shop.
I love to see crocus popping up...a reminder that Spring isn't far off. Plus, they're so cute.
Finally! I planted these last summer, and they didn't do anything until now.
My summer plants are still looking good, thanks to the cool summer in San Mateo, this year.
When I planted this camelia on my walkway, I had no idea how much pleasure I'd get from seeing it from inside my kitchen.
Got my beach fix today...72 degrees in Half Moon Bay...Gorgeous!
The view from our campsite in Housekeeping, by the river....
Just returned from an awesome hiking trip in Zion. Amazing!
