Donna's Story

Three of my girl friends and I have remained very close, through good times and bad, for decades. My BFFs are Michelle, Nancy & Phyllis. Michelle Alexander Knight & I have been friends for 51 years. Michelle went to Camden High School. Nancy Avery Johnson & I have been friends for 46 years. Nancy went to Branham. Phyllis Tomlinson White & I have been friends for 42 years. I was born in Portsmouth Naval Hospital,Virginia. My Dad was Navy, we were transferred to Kansas, then to California by the time I was 2. Although I hated to leave our marriage, our apartment, my job and the many friends that I made while in Virginia, I made the decision to come back to California Joe and I have not seen nor spoken to one another since 1973. I've long since forgiven Joe for his part and decision in leaving our marriage. He's n...Expand for more
