Donna's Story
Well hey y'all ! (That's Southern for " Yo, listen up !") Those of you who may remember me - I'm still the outspoken "rebel" but I've mellowed with age I assure you. You may or may not have missed me during the last few years at HHS, but that's 'cause I just had enough. Went for an equivalency and got a diploma in a few hours as opposed to years. Much better deal for me. So, quick catch up - I did the archaeology/anthropology thing up in Buffalo where snow became a way of life. Married and divorced twice, my Mom died and I separated myself from the paternal side of the family taking my mother's maiden name of Tasco . rom the HPD, and we "got out of Dodge" so to speak, coming to NC which, at the time, was the "sunny South". In recent years the weather has become unpredictable (any Southerners out there want to agree or dispute - feel free.) Over the years since HHS I've pretty much done what suited me at the time - same as always. Some catering (love to cook), some research work in my "field" for various papers, etc. in the world of academia, retail jobs. managerial positions - you get the idea. Now Dan and I live a quiet, unassuming life with no scandals, upsets or b.s. No children, no pets - just each other and a few close friends. Loudon Wainwright III said it best "Oh, but it's not boring".
