Life
My Spouse
I met my husband at work. We both worked at the Fresno Police Department; he was an officer and I am a dispatcher. He was so used to me telling him where to go, he decided to marry me and let me continue...which I did, gladly..:) During the course of his work, he was injured numerous times and medically retired. In an effort to keep him more mobile, we decided to have surgery last year and after a short recovery, he lost his life. Our family is still reeling over our loss. I read avidly as do our daughters. arted writing as well, and our youngest looks to be published nationally we're hoping; she's on the short list now for her poetry. I'm still trying to figure out what to write about.
My Pets
We have 6 horses, 35 cows, 5 cats and 2 dogs and a few deer that deadhead my roses and a nosy roadrunner who likes to look in our front room window and spy on what we're doing.
My Job
I work 911 phone lines as well as dispatch officers and fire equipment. I like to know what's going on first in our community as well as knowing "the real story".
