evin, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Enjoy golfing here in The Villages, (known as Florida's Friendliest Hometown), twirling my baton (yes after twirling in jr. high and school (Texas and Georgia) and graduatiing high school in 1962, I am still twirling batons at age 65 with The Villages Twirlers Show Team. Our show team began with only a few of us girls about 7 years ago who still had our old batons and wanted to twirl again. We have since performed at many, many events, including the Pro Bowl in Hawaii, Walt Disney Parades in Orlando, the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, and many parades/events in and around The Villages. We are all pretty proud of still twirling at our ages.".
